REV'IT! Sizing Guide: Jackets, Pants and Gloves
REV'IT! is a Dutch brand, and its gear is cut like it: trim through the body and long in the arms. REV'IT! also publishes its own sizing rules, which makes it one of the easier brands to get right if you follow them.
Use the chart on the product page
REV'IT! says each product has its own size guide, found by clicking "Size Guide" next to the sizes on the product page [1]. Don't assume last year's jacket chart matches this year's. Check every time.
How REV'IT! wants you to measure
- Chest: around the fullest part, tape horizontal [1]. REV'IT!'s men's chart adds "under the armpits" [2].
- Waist: REV'IT!'s support page says the narrowest part, where your body bends side to side [1]. Its men's chart says the natural waistline, in line with the navel [2]. Use the definition printed on the chart you're reading.
- Hip: fullest part, about 20 cm below the waistline [2].
- Arm: shoulder to wrist [2].
- Wear: measure against your skin or over a base layer, not over a hoodie. The charts list body measurements [1].
The three rules that decide your size
- Between sizes: order the smaller one for a tighter fit or the larger one for a looser fit [1].
- Chest and waist disagree: go with the size your chest measurement points to [1].
- Broad shoulders, small waist: RevZilla describes REV'IT! as a European cut that runs narrow in the shoulders, chest and waist, with a longer torso and sleeves, and says riders with that build may need to size up [3]. RevZilla prints that note with its women's chart, but the European cut applies across the line.
Example numbers: race suit chart
RevZilla's REV'IT! men's race suit chart shows how the Euro numbers line up [3]:
| Size | Chest (cm) | Waist (cm) | Inseam (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 48 | 95–98 | 84–87 | 80–82 |
| 50 | 99–102 | 88–91 | 81–83 |
| 52 | 103–106 | 92–95 | 82–84 |
| 54 | 107–110 | 96–100 | 83–85 |
| 56 | 111–114 | 101–105 | 84–86 |
The chest steps match the Alpinestars and Dainese charts closely, but the waist ranges differ, so a waist-heavy build can land in different sizes across the three brands.
Gloves: two measurements
REV'IT! glove sizing uses hand circumference and hand length [3]:
| Size | Circumference (in) | Length (in) |
|---|---|---|
| MD | 8.1–8.7 | 7.8–8 |
| LG | 8.7–9.1 | 8–8.2 |
| XL | 9.1–9.6 | 8.2–8.4 |
Measure circumference behind the knuckles without the thumb, on your larger hand. Measure length from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger [3]. Long fingers on a narrow hand? Let length break the tie.
Airbag note
If you'll wear a REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air system, REV'IT!'s size chart warns that the outer garment must be properly sized for it, typically one size larger than the system unless it's Tech-Air ready [2]. Read that chart closely, since the wrong fit can keep the airbag from working.
Measure once. We'll do the chart math.
